I like planes more than I thought
Thanks to Tiktok, I discovered the best phone game I've played in a long time. I'd describe it as Pokemon Go meets a flight tracker. It was actually created by Flightradar24.
The game is called Skycards, and you "catch" planes as they fly in your vicinity. You have a zone of about 75 miles wide (to start) where you can see flights in real time. When you select one, you can see its information such as where it's from, where it's heading, and what type of plane it is. If you want to collect it, you play a little mini game where you try to take a picture of it as it flies by. The plane then gets added to your collection as a card with information like the model's year of first flight and seat count.
As you level up you can widen the diameter of your airspace to see more flights, travel to other locations temporarily, and play against other users. There are fun achievements to unlock, and you can customize your avatar.
Overall it's just a fun game I've been enjoying for the last few weeks. The subreddit has over 10k followers so I know it isn't crazy popular but I hope more people give it a try!
